  This is a terrific layout. A strong set of par 4s and varied set of par 3s. There are three par 5s. Two of them are really 4 1/2s, with number 9 being a true 3 shot 5.
  
  They cut over 300 fir trees late last year and a finishing up the repair work on that major project. The course is already showing signs of having better turf, fairways and the greens are really responding to the increased light and air flow. They are firm, true and VERY fast! A delight to play!!
  
  This is a better golf course than it is given credit for and it is on the upswing!!

  Course is recovering from the tree project nicely! Fantastic food and a quaint event location, would love to have another event with them soon.

  My expectations were based upon this now being a public golf course. They have chopped down several hundred trees and there is still some clean up needed. That being said, the greens were in excellent condition and the bunkers and fairways were also in very good condition.
